M-DAQ Global's inaugural Keyboard Typing Competition was a resounding success, filled with excitement, camaraderie, and impressive typing skills. Held on 28 June 2024, the event was a much-anticipated affair, bringing together M-DAQers from all corners of the company for a fun-filled afternoon.

The competition kicked off with the 5-Pax Team Typing Relay. This event truly highlighted the importance of coordination and teamwork. Teams of five worked together in a high-speed relay race, passing the virtual baton to complete typing tasks. The atmosphere was electric as teams strategised and executed their plans with precision, vying for the top spot.

Next up was the Single Index Finger Typing event. Participants were tasked with typing using only their index fingers, and the results were both hilarious and awe-inspiring. The audience cheered as competitors showcased their dexterity, with the fastest typist taking home the glory.

The Pair Tied Typing event added an extra layer of challenge and fun. Partners were tied at the wrist, requiring them to sync their movements and type in unison. The laughter and excitement were palpable as teams navigated this unique challenge, proving that teamwork makes the dream work.

In the Individual Typing event, participants had the chance to showcase their solo typing speed and accuracy. The competition was fierce, with typists going head-to-head to determine who was the fastest and most accurate. It was a thrilling display of individual skill and determination.

A special highlight of the day was the Keyboard Showcase where keyboard enthusiasts from across the group brought their favourite keyboards, each accompanied by a short write-up. The showcase allowed participants to share their passion for keyboards and compete for the most votes. It was a fantastic opportunity to see a variety of unique and custom keyboards, and the enthusiasm was infectious.

The event was not only about competition but also building connections and fostering a sense of community. Colleagues cheered each other on, shared laughters, and enjoyed a delicious lunch together.
