Completion of the Fukuoka TRC Feasibility Study

[26 September 2024, Japan] - The Fukuoka Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the Fukuoka Stock Exchange), M-DAQ Global Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as M-DAQ), Argentum Code Co., Ltd., and NTT Communications Corporation have conducted a feasibility study (hereinafter referred to as FS) on the adoption of the TRC (*1) developed by M-DAQ together with participating securities companies (*2) Phillip Securities Co., Ltd. and moomoo Securities Co., Ltd. (*3) [Announced on October 26, 2023]
Fukuoka TRC has been studied as a TRC-based system and service to enable overseas retail investors, especially in Asia, to trade issues listed on the Fukuoka Stock Exchange in their own currencies. Through the FS, we have confirmed that there is a certain level of need not only for Fukuoka Stock Exchange-listed issues but for the Japanese market as a whole.
We would like to inform you that the Fukuoka TRC project, which is only targeted at Fukuoka Stock Exchange-listed stocks, has been completed, and that the relevant companies have agreed that M-DAQ will promote the TRC for the entire Japanese market in the future.
The companies involved will continue to cooperate towards the goal of this project, which is to "improve convenience for overseas investors."
*1 Abbreviation for Trading the Right ChartTM (a trademark of M-DAQ). M-DAQ provides a foreign currency exchange function, allowing overseas investors to trade overseas securities in their own currency.
